| Some people believe that life is just a series of planned events and that you are bound to follow your destiny from the moment you are concieved. You're just a really long trail of falling dominos, only stopping upon the moment you take your last breath. I find that so fucking depressing. I like to look at it in a different perspective, that your life is the end product of every choice you've ever made and the effects of external factors that could not be avoided. I'm not saying that once you start to take a certain path that you won't be able to go back and deviate from it. Exceptional people have the ability to take charge of their lives and change the direction in which they are going. Seems easier to swallow that you have control over who you are and will be. Whether I'm right or not is impossible to find out, but that's beside the point. The main purpose of this blog is to pretty much document the pitstops, curves, forks and intersections along the path of my life. It'd also be a place to post some random expletives during my rough days and ramble endlessly about pointless nothings. |
